Anderson v1 pg255 - letter #241

I wanted to visit you, but unfortunately I could not find you.

The situation of your rooms pleases me so much that I could make up my mind to be a hermit for eight days.   But seriously, if you will let me know approximately the amount of the expenses involved and if this does not exceed too much the limits of my purse, then I would like to fill the spot you have vacated. In particular I should count on your leaving your pianoforte there for eight days. Then I should have it brought in for you. All good wishes. And think of your Beethoven who loves you.
